I am pleased to report that I have seen good results in my patients who are receiving injections of "Fascian". Injectable Fascian is quick, effective, and relatively long-lasting. Patients find it to be a very good alternative to Collagen injections, which seem to last only three to six months for most people. Patients also comment that they prefer the idea of using human vs. bovine materials.

I commonly inject Fascian in the upper and lower lips and in the nasal-labial folds between the nose and mouth. Patients have some swelling which subsides after two to there days. Massaging the area helps to soften any hard spots at the injection site or within the treated area.

I have been using Fascian for lip augmentation and have found that it is easy to admniister and appears to have far longer longevity than collagen. Also, because I can store it at room temperature and don't have to do sensitivity testing prior to adminstering it, I find that Fascian is much more convenient to use.
